 1. GIZA PYRAMID COMPLEX


They are one of the 7 Wonders of the World and it is located less than 20km away from Cairo. They are the 3 tombs of the pharaohs Keops, Kefren and Micerinos.

2. ABU SIMBEL
Abu Simbel is the site of two ancient Egyptian temples. The site is located on the Nile River in southern Egypt. The pharaoh Ramses II built the two temples in the 1200BC. The main temple was dedicated to two sun gods.

3. THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS AND QUEENS


The Valley of the Kings was a great burial ground for the Pharaohs. After around 1500 B.C. the Pharaohs no longer built great pyramids in which to be buried. Instead, most of them were buried in tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

There are over 60 tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Unfortunately, most of the tombs were looted thousands of years ago and the treasure was stolen or removed by thieves.

4. COLLOSUS AND HATSHEPSUT TEMPLE


One of only a few female pharaohs in thousands of years of ancient Egyptian history, Hatshepsut. Considered one of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs—man or woman—Hatshepsut brought great wealth and artistry to her land. And she built the mortuary Temple of Deir el Bahri, a structure with several floors of columns in front, where she’d eventually be buried.

5. KARNAK TEMPLE COMPLEX


The Karnak Temple Complex  comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor, in Egypt. The construction began in the Midddle Kingdom. It is part of the monumental city of Thebes and it was the main place of worshipof God Amun.

6. LUXOR TEMPLE


It is only 2km away from Karnak Temple Complex and it is also dedicated to God Amun.
